We are looking for reviews of books that change the way we think about language, literary tradition, and inherited forms of writing, books that are deserving of a wider audience and a more varied response from the literary community at large. There are presently no open calls for submissions. Our mission is to publish and celebrate the essay, in all its forms. We publish print essay anthologies and produce a free online pamphlet series, OCCASIONAL PAPERS ON PRACTICE and FORM, dedicated to the art of nonfiction, teaching, and the writing life.
